Story

Proclaimed on October 29, 1923, with the idea of independence at its core, the Republic is the greatest embodiment of the spirit of unity and solidarity that crowned our struggle for existence throughout our historical journey. We designed our pen with this spirit and the enthusiasm brought by the 100th anniversary. We colored our models with mosaic work in the red of our flag. This shade of red was also used in dedication to the thousands of martyrs and veterans who contributed to this great achievement. We engraved our crescent and star, which captivate us with their stance, onto the bodies of the pens together with diamonds.

The miniatures used in our miniature pen each carry a distinct meaning and story. First, there is a miniature of a profile photograph of Mustafa Kemal taken on June 17, 1915, in Çanakkale, while he was with the 19th Division. This photograph was taken by Major Alganer. Even during the battles, Atatürk was recognized as a hero by the Turkish army and the Turkish people; a determined, forward-thinking commander who did not shy away from responsibility and possessed strong self-confidence. These qualities later carried over into the Republic.

The miniature titled “This Is How We Won the Republic” is a frame immortalized in 1933, on the 10th anniversary of the Republic, in Uşak by Hüsnü Kazım Özer. It was chosen so that we do not forget where we came from and so that we continue to celebrate the Republic with ever-increasing enthusiasm..
